Match Report
Stamford Girls-U13B vs  Oakham School
On: Wednesday, 10 Oct 2018
Venue: Away

We were away at Oakham school to play a tough hockey match and although we fought until the end the overall result was 1-4.

There was a brilliant goal from Jemima Todd, going straight through the goal keepers legs. Millie Hindmarch also played really well, crossing the ball many times and hitting the post with a painfully close shot.

Ruby Perkins, players' player, had some great play down the left wing and passing the ball into the circle. Emily Cornelius, goal keeper, saved countless goals and we couldn’t have done as well as we did without her.

At the end of the match, Grace Richardson was named as the coach's player for helping to make some excellent saves, clearing the ball from the D and also stepping up to attack along the wing.

Well done to all who played and I’m sure this will give the team lots to work on for future matches.
